Hi! It's already October...holy crap! Bikinis are put away (in most places) a few drops of rain have hit the cement here, and the temperature is going to steadily decline below the mid-70s. These wonderful changes in climate do something much more meaningful for me than signal the onset of "Fall" (those of you not in California seem to find it cute when we refer to October and November as Fall--those quotes are for you!). For me, they mark the start of all things sugary and delicious, which, by default, marks the start of elastic waistband and bulky sweater season.
With the holiday hullabaloo (side-note: I love that that word is in spellcheck) making it's presence in stores already--Costco already has an aisle of Christmas right next to an aisle of Halloween--the vision of our kids' Halloween candy, pumpkin pie, creamy side dishes and all other things glorious for taste buds, filling out bellies has begun. With bellies full of delicious sweet and savory treats, comes expanding waist lines. "Fat pants" (or a the old elastic pony tail holder trick) are pulled down from the top of the closet and flannel shirts make an appearance, those ridiculous LuLaRoe pants and skirts will be more acceptable than the months prior.
While some of us may trade in our running shoes for a Grande PSL WITH whip...duh...we don't have to put them away for good. This month, I bring you the first in a *hopefully* long-runnnig series of workout challenges. Each month I will post multiple workouts that can be completed in the comfort of your own home, in as much time as you have available. On occasion, different props will be used, and at the end of each month, ONE WINNER will be chosen, at random, and sent a prize.
THE RULES: Take a picture of yourself completing the workout and post it on Facebook/Instagram/Twitter using the hashtag provided for the month. ONE POST = ONE ENTRY. Please only post one time per each workout you complete. If you complete the workout once a day, by all means, post once per day!
